That matters most in older Chicago homes, where plaster cracks, past patches, settled corners, and layers of old paint are normal. Skipping the prep is what produces flashing, visible seams, and ridges that show up the first sunny afternoon after the crew leaves.
We handle single rooms, whole interiors, stairwells and hallways, and full unit repaints for properties being prepared to sell or rent.
What This Service Includes
Drywall installation
New drywall for remodels, additions to existing rooms, and finished lower levels, taped and finished to a flat surface ready for paint.
Drywall and wall repair
Patching holes, cracks, water-damaged sections, and previous repairs that were never finished properly, blended so the patch does not read as a patch.
Prep and priming
Surface cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming, plus protecting floors, trim, and fixtures before any paint is opened.
Interior painting
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and stairwells, with cut lines held straight and coverage checked in daylight before the work is called finished.
